This is a qualification for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for logistics and warehousing operations.
It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. Please note: Units within this qualification require students to to have access to a warehousing environment. Your METS Trainer will visit the workplace to assess learners on the job and/or via video conferencing throughout the qualification.

Digital Classrooms and Traineeships
To be eligible to commence a traineeship, a participant must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident working full or part time within a service (minimum 15 hours). The participant must have the support of their employer, an accredited RTO (such as METS Training Services) and an Australian Apprenticeship Centre.
Yes. Under certain circumstances your traineeship can be extended, however this process can take some time and applying for an extension should be considered as a last resort. You should speak to us and/or your Australian Apprenticeship Centre if you are considering applying for an extension.
