School Based Apprenticeships & Training
School Based Apprenticeships & Training
SBATs
SBATs allow senior high school students to work with an employer as paid employees while studying for their Higher School Certificate.
This subsidised training helps students gain valuable skills and experience, to be work-ready by the time they finish school.
SBATs opens doors to a dynamic career path for students, giving them a head start in the career they desire. Taking the trade approach to their career, students can distinguish themselves from the crowd.
The traineeships offered at METS are similar to apprenticeships, but they concentrate on vocational or job areas, such as office administration, early childhood education and care, or warehousing.
